Seriously categorical logic is not something I use everyday…and I teach philosophy classes. So how would it be relevant for nursing? Heres the most honest answer I can come up with: Bicep Curls. I cant think of a sport where an athlete ever curls a heavy object. An an exercise its an artificial movement. But because its so precise it really builds up a muscle that every athlete will use all the time. Same with categorical logic. You wont use A E I and O claims…or find contrapositives…but youre building up a way of thinking about claims and language that can help you everyday. So try not to BS a reply to this one. If you run out of things to say about the value of categorical logic here are some suggestions to help you get full credit for the post: 1. You can always give us some everyday claims and show how they would be translated to standard form categorical claims. 2.
