My Book Review is about “Alexander the Great”

This week share information from your upcoming Book Review.

Regardless of topic, please respond to the discussion questions with a five-paragraph post. Be sure to address the following aspects:

1)  Citation from the book (title, author, publisher, date)

2)  A brief overview of the subject (time period, geographic location, etc.)

2)  Identify the major players and the motivation for their actions and any other cultures they come into direct contact with

3)  Cite at least two references from the book that relate directly back to material covered in the course.

4)  Describe and analyze the historical significance of the topic.  You must still address cultural issues even if you pick an individual or event.  The culture will often create situations that elevate individuals through circumstances.  Be sure to address this aspect in your response.

The Two-page paper should contain a concise, focused of your understanding of the topic, based on the readings, questions and the video. I want you to be able to articulate in your own words the topics we cover in this week. The papers will be graded based on their Readability (5 points); Clarity of Objective, Purpose (3 points); Support, Analysis, and Critical Thinking (5 points); Audience Awareness (2 points); Organization (5 points); Completeness and Depth (5 points).  The Two-page papers should be double-spaced, maximum 12-point type, maximum one-inch margins on all sides, in an MLA format.
