As the human resource manager of the organization, choosing the effective business partner as a strategy to succeed in the market is one of the best strategies. Our company is now going global in its operations and it needs better strategies in to build a strong global brand and reputation that would translate into revenue and expansion. I will implement the effective business partnership as the HR leader through working with other organization departments that include the marketing, sales and the promotion teams to make sure that we built a reputable and strong brand (Wickham, 2021). The HR team or a long period has been working in a disconnected manner with the other departments where most of the organization decision making is made by the senior leadership without involvement of the HR department.
I would take the responsibility as the leader and approach the senior leadership as a strategic partner where I would bring the workforce close together with the management as a linking tool in to bring value out of them. My responsibility would be to align the employees’ skills with their departments and facilitate regular training in to make sure that the organization has the best expertise and I will only achieve this through partnership with the senior management to receive the necessary funding. The effective business partnership with the senior management makes it possible advance the organization vision and mission by knowing the business operation in depth by taking time to learn and consider educating the staff (Wickham, 2021). Understanding the organization as the HR leader makes it easy to convince the senior management about the employees’ involvement in the company mission, goals, vision, strategies and policy development in to achieve success.
Handling the human resource has the manager is an opportunity and a challenge especially for the global firm that would hire diverse culture (Wickham, 2021). I would consider making data-driven decisions especially on the matter of business global outlook and the cross-cultural approach by using the HR metrics in measuring the effectiveness and financial benefits of hiring diverse staff in the organization. The data driven evidence would assist me in approaching the senior management as a serious business partner indicating the benefits the firm would enjoy if we invest in diverse hiring process to create the global outlook in our organization (Bersin, 2019).. Collaboration and teamwork in the organization is a form of partnership between different expertise and I would lead them in sharing ideas and skills and promote creativity in the firm that translates to revenue generation. My strategy is preferable because it considers a data driven decisions rather than assumptions
HR function in the organization is about developing the quality workforce and motivate them to deliver. The effective business partner strategy would assist me in conducting performance management by working together with the other business staff to analyze the value the human resource brings to the organization in terms of efficiency and revenue. The information from the performance management would play an important role rewarding them and attract, inspire and retain the highly skilled staff and minimize losses associated with regular hiring caused by high turnover rate (Bersin, 2019). As the HR team leader, integrity and ethics of the employees is a priority and I would act as an example in undertaking moral action and behavior in the workplace and partner with senior management to offer employees ethics training to protect the organization from legal and compliance issues and build a positive reputation that translates to huge sales. The strategy would work best when the HR partner with other departments resulting to enough resources needed and expertise to deliver value.
