Students will identify visually what parenting looks like and explain nurturing practices that support growth and development. Success Criteria Assignment Details: Part 1 – Make a ONE-Pager that visually displays what positive parenting means to you. Include a minimum of 10 pictures in the collage. It should be creative artistic and unique. You can make it all digital use magazines and/or your own drawings. Part 2 – Choose 10 pictures. In 2-3 sentences describe why you selected each picture and the importance it has for healthy development of children. That means 20-30 sentences for this portion. It needs to typed and upload here as well. Learning Target: I will demonstrate my understanding of one of the three parenting styles. Success Criteria: PART 3 Assignment Details: Pick one of the Parenting Styles (your choice) and create a skit that demonstrates how a parent would act. Make sure it is realistic to how a parent and a child would act. You can make a video or upload a script. Your skit needs to be at least 20 seconds in length. Your Script should be at least 1 page long there should be at least 20 lines of dialogue. This can include direction of the skit such as “Mom entered the kitchen and saw her daughter sitting there she looked sad.”. This is just an example your script needs be written as if your classmates were to act this out. Look back at your summaries to help you get some key ideas to make your skit meaningful. Please make sure your skit is school appropriate. No cussing harming a child etc. I can analyze nurturing practices that support human growth and development.
