Importance of water fluoridation in the community

Choose one of the following scenarios and write a letter to the editor:

Scenario 1: Your city has had an outbreak of COVID-19 cases. In response, your county’s health authority has issued an mandating that all adults and children over the age of 2 wear face masks in all public indoor and outdoor areas. This public health has caused a deep divide in public opinion. Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper either in support of or against the face mask to try and persuade the public to better understand the issue based upon evidence-based public health resources. Remember that the audience of a letter to the editor is the public, so be sure to keep the terminology simple enough that all populations can understand it.
