1.The organization I am working with is a local shop in central Texas that offers the growing African community authentic African staples, this idea came up after the realization that even though the African population in this area was growing there wasn’t any local shop to cater for their needs in terms of authentic African products, rather they travel for hours to patronize such a shop in Huston.
            Distribution channels are the avenues through which an organization makes its products and/or services available to their customers, that is getting it into their hands. There are various distribution channels that an organization can adopt as can be seen from his quote “Different firms use different strategies to distribute their products. While some firms sell exclusively through their own stores or websites, others depend on independent retailers, and yet others rely on a combination of both owned and independent channels to reach the end customer” (Guo, S. Heese, H. S. 2017). So, in effect it depends on the organization and their stage in their development.
            With this local African store, the distribution channel will initially be selling through the store directly due to the fact that its beginning as a local store to prevent customers from having to travel for hours to get similar or the same products. Also being a local store, it will serve the organizations objective/(s) well by having that face to face human touch when delivering its products.

2. Vet4Life is an organization that is here for all retirees or people separating the military while stationed overseas. We are attached to each base but are a paid service that creates life plans on what to and how to do it throughout the entire process of transferring from military to civilian. For those that are wanting to go stateside we can help with all the questions and get you back stateside comfortably, but we are experts in getting you a home overseas.
            We know what it is transitioning and how hard it can be to go from a life you have known most of your adult life into another world you know not a lot about. We have researched different ways to distribute our data. We are small but we are mighty with knowledge and found that selling direct to the consumer is the best way to go. A Direct to consumer via the internet is a great way to sell our product. According to MarketingMO our company has agents that sale the product and has to build relationships with the consumer. (MarketingMO, N.D.) This relationship is the number one priority for our distribution strategy. Without great customer service and satisfaction our profit margin will not be enough to stay floating. This direct-to-consumer distribution will be what gives the most value with a 1 on 1 situation for each customer!
