The importance of online pharmacies is crucial in today’s world. The everyday task has been taken over by smartphones, computers, tablets or other computing devices that ease our daily tasks. Smartphones are used more frequently in today’s life and it’s having a special importance in today’s growing society. Online pharmaceutical web applications have become a fast growing trend for facilitating online pharmaceutical products and services shopping. This fast growth has been attributed to by the market opportunity set forth by the billions of computing devices accessing the internet by people around the globe.

Background information of the project need improvement. You have to specify what are the services, what are the products and what are the main function of the system etc., and also you have to specify clearly the rationale for the project, what are the current problem in the company and why you were developing.
The pharmacy operations involve implementation of pharmaceutical s which involve interpretation and evaluation of medical s, drug administration, and dispensation of prescribed drugs from qualified medical practitioners. It also involves review of prescribed drug regimen, and correct storage of drugs (Sumaida, 2012). The Sultanate of Oman has quite a number of Pharmacies that supply drugs to the locals. These pharmacies have not embraced this fast growing business paradigm. The major pharmacies I am targeting include the following:
⦁ Aflag Pharmacy is considered the most trusted pharmacy in the Sultanate of Oman. It was established in 2012 but had started operating in 2008 when it was managing Balsm Pharmacy. It has several retail outlets in Al Ghubra, Azaiba, Mabella among others. Its purpose is to deliver quality pharmaceutical products and services to the people of Oman hence bring them quality healthcare services (Raj, 2020).
⦁ Muscat Pharmacy & Stores LLC was established in 1968 and has since undergone several changes. The latest change was in 2001 when it renamed its business name from Muscat Pharmacy LLC to Muscat Pharmacy & Stores LLC. It has several retail outlets in Al Ghubra, Azaiba, Mabella among others. Its purpose is to deliver the highest level of satisfaction to its customers by enhancing the standards of health and healthcare of people throughout the Sultanate of Oman. It has several outlets within Muscat with Al Hail, Al khuwair, Al Ghobra and Sohar among pharmacies providing 24-hour service in a week (History of Muscat Pharmacy & Stores LLC | Muscat Pharmacy & Stores LLC, 2020).
⦁ Al-Hashar Pharmacy established by the Late Sheikh Al Hashar and Dr Ali Mohd in 1972. Moosa, Al Hashar Pharmacy has been one of the pioneering organizations in the field of Pharmaceutical distribution and retail trade. It is committed to patient-oriented healthcare in the Sultanate of Oman. It provides pharmaceutical products, offers laboratory diagnostics and has several pharmacy outlets spread at various places throughout Salalah and Muscat (Al-Hashar Pharmacy, 2020).
⦁ Ibn Sina Pharmacy LLC is a pharmaceutical company established in 1974 with a mission to extend quality healthcare to micro interiors of the Sultanate of Oman. It has several pharmacy outlets like Adam, Haima, Thumrait, Mahout among others (IBN SINA PHARMACY – Good Health, Great Life!, 2020).
Even if these pharmacies have tried to harness the power of the internet they have not yet tapped the full potential of the market provided by the internet.

The problem definition is more specific and make it paragraph. Finally, you need to discuss how you were going to achieve or solve those issues using your proposed system.
Technological advancement has resulted in the need for constant upgrades by various pharmaceutical organizations such as pharmacies to keep up with the changes. With pharmacies currently using outdated methods in managing its data and offering services, it has resulted in time wastage and inaccuracy in its bookkeeping. This physical data is prone to lose and inconsistency which leads to redundancy and inaccuracy. In addition to that, customers cannot buy drugs and issue their prescriptions on the current pharmacy websites except for a majority few.
⦁ Proposed Solution
Developing an integrated pharmacy web application with the ability for customers to buy and submit their prescriptions online and get delivery of the same. This application will critically help to keep track of drug inventories with the ability to trigger an alert to the management once a certain drug has reduced in stock. Key statistics used to make critical decisions will be displayed in a graphical dashboard. It will feature a good database management system will be very important especially in performing efficient data management needs, analysis and organization. It will also enhance quality in decision making. This application will deliver accurate reports during bookkeeping and analysis anytime required.
⦁ Justification
There is a lot of time and money wastage when patients have to travel to a town to buy medicine or pharmaceutical products. Patients have currently the option of visiting the nearest pharmacy which might not be stocked with the prescribed medicine. By the use of this web application, a variety of medicine will be available for the customers/patients since several pharmacies’ products will be available.
This project will resolve the issue of data management and time wastage. This will be achieved through the use of a database management system used in the application. The application will also raise awareness of the pharmacy as websites applications are being used as digital marketing tools.

The project scope need improvement. The project scope should cover the following points such as need of the project, who are the stakeholder, main functionality of the proposed system, duration of completion of project, cost and what are the tools you were going to use to implement the system.

Investing in the development of a website that will not only provide information but allow clients to purchase products or services is a good strategy to not only keep a business afloat but reach new clients. This is the decision that a pharmacy in Oman has decided to take.

Countering these problems among others that are in the existing system will be the main focus of this project. Therefore, the main goal of undertaking this project will be to ensure that Alfah gets a website that will bridge the gap between them and their clients as well as potential clients

2.3 Literature Review

A website is important to have since it creates a platform where a business can interact with its clients and stakeholders (IEEE Staff, 2016). Access to the internet is becoming cheaper and faster as more advanced computing devices are continuously being produced every day as servers that host these sites and as computing devices that are being used to access these online resources.
Having a website that is easy to find using search engines is also very important. This is because it makes it easy for potential clients are able to access information about the business and services or products that you offer. According to Shah (2020), a business that has a website will be able to get direct feedback from clients, have better tools for analyzing their sales made through their website, and thus help in boosting sales.

2.4 Feasibility Analysis

It will also ensure that there is time for proper testing of the website both in terms of functionality and ease of use but also in security to ensure that all transactions and data are safe and secure.

Business objectives define where a company/business wants to be in its niche within a specified period of time. Alfah, a pharmacy in Oman seeks to develop a website that will help them to attain the following business objectives:
1. Customer Satisfaction: Moving their services to their website means that they will be able to serve more clients with their specific needs without the need for long queues at the pharmacy’s physical location or long messages on their social media platforms. Customers will be able to search the site for what they want and it comfortably.
2. Growth: Putting their business online in this way, Alfah will be able to serve clients well beyond Oman which will, in turn, enable them to grow exponentially. More clients will automatically mean more flow of revenue hence it will seal the financial future of the business.
3. Revenue: As stated earlier, with proper management; it will be possible for Alfah to generate a lot of revenue through sales made on its website. More revenue will mean that the business can also begin to diversify to other fields or choose to remain and dominate its current market.
4. Efficient Workflow: With digital records of transactions, logistics will become easier to keep track of. This will improve the efficiency of their service delivery, especially if on the website there is an option of pre- ing medication that has not been cataloged before. It will keep the pharmacy on its toes and abreast with the medications that are commonly ed by clients hence ensuring a steady flow.
The main objective is to make profits from the website, maintain a good relationship with clients, and expand the reach of the pharmacy’s services.

2.4.2 Technical Feasibility

Technical feasibility is an assessment of how the delivery of a product is to be done. In this case, it is the delivery for a website for Alfah, a pharmacy in Oman. In website development, the tasks will be divided into planning, designing, development, testing, and finally, deployment.
The software will be developed using an open-source language for both the interface and the back end which will be running on the server. There will be a need for an open-source server o which the site will run therefore meaning that in terms of software to be used, there will be little to no spending.
The hardware requirements will include computers for doing the actual programming of the website, a server where the site will be hosted for testing, and finally, the end server where the site will be deployed.
