Preschool feelings Theme

You are a preschool teacher for children ages 2 to 4 . You chose to use the preschool feeling theme . My preschool theme is on feelings the title is How Are You feeling? I chose this theme so children can express how they feel and to be able to identify different emotions.

The feelings themes are activities crafts games and lessons. Please answer the following questions and also cite the book Hall N. S. (1998). Creative resources for anti-bias classroom. Albany NY: Delmar Publisher. I do not have this book. Discuss the following questions in paragraphs format (no question/answer format) 1. How/Why did you choose the activities?

2. What are the basic concepts and ideas to which the children will be exposed through the activities offered in this unit?

3. What benefit will the children receive from being involved with this theme?

4. How does it connect with prior knowledge or daily life activities?

5. How do the activities extend the literature and awareness of culture difference?

6. How will you ask children to respond to the literature the difference similarities?

7. How will you acknowledge and integrate children’s cultural family and community experiences and home languages as well as the individual interests and developmental needs.
