Research proposal as per below. 1500 words.
For Research Title I chose: Risk Assessment and Crime Prevention. A case of haulage industry in UK. I am not very sure about the title though, please feel free to adjust it, to cover the content. I just wanted this research to focus on the risks the professional drivers face in the haulage industry in the UK, the potential threats to their vehicles and how to minimise the risk of becoming a victim of crime. For example, what frameworks can be used to raise awareness of freight crime around the UK and how to prevent/ mitigate the crime (E.g.: security webcam on the streets of the sites, well-lit streets, sites can create secured parking spaces for Lorries; the international Lorries who deliver to UK, as they arrive on sites earlier than the booking slots, most of the time they have to wait hours to be unloaded. They can be a target for thieves). This is my idea of topic, but please feel free to adjust it.

How can you test that your results will be meaningful?
Interviews
How are they to be administered?
How can you test that your results will be meaningful?
Population (indicate organisations and people): Why have particular respondents been chosen?
Sampling (Explain your sampling method)
Research Participant Protection (both organisations and people)
