Select a reading (academic article/book chapter) of substance…..the article must be at minimum a 20 page article….NOT the Textbook or readings placed by the instructor on Cougar Courses. (Library research advised) The reading MUST be related to the weekly topics which you selected or were assigned from the class syllabus AND related to the Human Development or Human Service Field/Organizations. Write a minimum 350/maximum 500 word essay, summarizing the 3-4 major points of the reading and what you learned from the reading. Submit the Assignment on the Date indicated in the Syllabus and be prepared to report out to the class on your findings, in panel format, when the topic is discussed in class. (DO NOT READ YOUR REPORT IN CLASS, JUST REPORT THE 3/4 POINTS FROM YOUR PAPER, AND BE PREPARED TO DISCUSS IN A PANEL DISCUSSION WITH YOUR FELLOW CLASSMATE PRESENTERS) Paper FORMAT: Indicate Your Name and Weekly Topic addressed at the top of Page 1 Narrative can begin on same page 1 – (5 points) (It must be minimum 350/maximum 500 words & uploaded as a WORD document) Citations within the paper are not necessary. Just make your 3-4 points. Be sure to utilize the APA reference format for your Article source(s). Clearly indicate the pages read (Ex: pps 75-99) to support 20 page minimum- (2 points) You will receive 7 points for the paper and 3 points for your class presentation and Panel Discussion.
