Section 1:
In this section you will write about what type of business this is. Your analysis will cover (but

market, the environmental forces affecting this business, ethical considerations affecting the
business (if any), and customer profile. This section will be based on chapters 1-5. This section
should be between 1 and 2 pages long.
Section 2:
In this section you will identify the NAICS code for your business, write about the organizational
buying activity the business is involved in (who does this business buy from or what
organizations does it sell to), identify if the business markets internationally, and if so, analyze
the type of international company it is and what type of global marketing strategy it uses. If
relevant, you will write about the type of market research the business conducts. Finally, in this
section you will discuss the type of segmentation, product positioning and differentiation
strategies that the business uses. This section will be based on chapters 6-9. This section should
between 1.5 and 3 pages long.
Section 3:
In this section you will analyze the type of product the business sells, discuss product attributes
and identify where the product that the business sells falls on the product life cycle, analyze
marketing activities of the business and identify how they relate to the stage of product life cycle.
Here you will also discuss the service component of the product the business sells and the
implications for marketing activities. Here you will also discuss the pricing strategy of the
business. This section will be based on chapters 10-13. This section should between 2 and 4
pages long.
Section 4:
In this last section you will discuss factors pertaining to your business’ marketing channel,
distribution and retailing strategy. You will also analyze the communication and promotion
strategies of your business. This section will be based on chapters 14-17. This section should
between 1 and 2 pages long.
