DescriptionHello,
I need information with images and examples on the kind of electrodes that can be used for making a universal optical filter, especially Liquid Crystal Tunable Filter.
Please mention at least 4-5 electrodes that can be used, their function (images wherever possible), cost of these electrodes, advantages disadvantages, companies that make them (provide link).
One major electrode type that you can focus on is: Indium tin oxide (ITO). I believe this is commonly used so please provide about 3 pages on this electrode with images, cost, companies that make them, types/kind of ITO etc.
What kind of polarizers are used with these electrodes? (two references below) https://www.osapublishing.org/oe/fulltext.cfm?uri=oe-17-14-11426&id=183003 https://www.osapublishing.org/ol/abstract.cfm?uri=ol-41-9-1957
Also, briefly mention about: What liquid crystals are commonly used?
