Efficiency is doing things right; effectiveness is doing the right things.
—Peter Drucker, The Effective Executive
As a health care administrator, it is your responsibility to make sure that your health care facility is not just operating efficiently but also effectively. What is the difference between managing your facility efficiently versus effectively? One important step in having an effective facility will require regular evaluation of what your community needs. Throughout the remaining weeks, you explore community needs in to submit your Final Project, a Community Needs Assessment. This week, you propose a pilot study to address your community needs.
